Plan to Adapt Now

Social Distance Dining Solution with Sustainable ‘Grab & Go’ Reusable Meal Containers

COVID-19 has required communal dining programs – senior living centers, colleges and universities, businesses, hospitals, military bases, and restaurants – to retool their entire operation to serve their guests safely, cost effectively and with minimal impact on the environment.

Our goal is to help you quickly and safely achieve your dining goals. Key considerations are:

  • Serving everyone while reducing dining room capacity
  • Limiting contact between users and staff
  • Reducing overall cost and budgetary concerns
  • Complying with all safety and sanitization measures
  • Controlling environmental impact within sustainability goals

“We are committed to providing our employees with a safe, environmentally friendly alternative to single-use containers. The O2GO® reusable meal container by OZZI® has a ‘no contact’ collection system and is cleaned and sanitized by our commercial dishwashers,” said Guido Boers…

Disposables Don’t Work

Cost – Disposable meal containers and utensils are extremely costly. Case studies prove that an investment of $4.60 per O2GO® reusable meal container by OZZI® per person can save up to $88.40 per unit. Versus a cost of $93.00 worth of disposables that just gets thrown away. Several customers who initially used disposables have switched to reusables due to the prohibitive impact on their budgets.

Cost Comparison Chart

Sustainability – One O2GO® reusable meal container by OZZI® alone eliminates up to 300 disposable containers. Reusables save on waste hauling costs and significantly reduces landfill waste. Additionally, by implementing a reusable program, you are reducing dependency on fossil fuels by limiting deliveries of disposable containers, not to mention saving trees and reducing emissions.

Safety – Our O2GO® reusable meal containers by OZZI® have been tested for warewashing in commercial dishwashers by Ecolab and can withstand the high heat involved in sanitizing them. They are NSF and FDA approved and pass stringent safety requirements by local health departments.

The no contact collection system limits exposure to dining personnel. It is comforting to know that O2GO® reusables are Made in the USA (exclusively in Oregon); eliminating the concern of where the disposable was actually made and packaged.

O2GO® reusable meal containers are much stronger and leakproof for easy transport across campus or back to an office.

Reusables Stack Up: Clean, Safe, Cost-effective, and Sustainable

O2GO® reusables by OZZI® is your simple solution to meet your social distance dining needs. By increasing your take-out program with reusables, you will save money, have a positive impact on the environment, and ensure a zero-waste, clean, safe remedy for every type of food service.

How It Works

  1. Dining services prepares the meal in an O2GO® reusable meal container by OZZI® and places it in a safe area for student or employee pick up.

“The container offers a better transport and dining experience because it is leak proof, can be microwaved safely and reduces our trash volume,” - Guido Boers, Manager, Corporate Food Service & Amenities, Freddie Mac

  2. The meal is collected and enjoyed back at their desk or dorm room.

  3. When convenient, the O2GO® reusable meal container is placed into an OZZI® Machine or cart – no contact collection – to be cleaned and sanitized in the commercial dishwasher to be used again.

Our O2GO® Start-Up Team can help you with every single step to implement your reusable program – from determining the best collection system for your organization, the right quantities, and strategies for user engagement.
